Darlison O’Brien Duo

Benjamin O’Brien and Luke Darlison are electric guitarists from Marseille. Their work ranges in influence from free-improvisation (Roscoe Mitchell, Fred Frith), electronic (the Hub), German and Viennese schools (Bach, Webern), and jazz (Charlie Parker, Miles Davis). Collectively, they hold degrees in music composition (Ph.D, MA, BA), mechanical engineering (MS), and mathematics (BA). Their program takes inspiration from these expansive experiences and the art composed in Collection Lambert.
