Trained in the royal ballet of Flanders before joining the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Cindy Van Acker has gained international recognition since the creation of her company Greffe in 2002. Choreographer of abstraction and purity, each of her creations is an event, revealing a complex dance, of a rare beauty all in line and in interior power.

Shadowpieces is a long-term project, a corpus of 11 soli that the choreographer will deploy until June 2020. At the heart of this crossing is the idea of working intimately in her privileged relationship with each performer, her sensitivity, her quality of movement. Each solo is therefore tailor-made in an intense connection to the music that the dancer himself chooses from a reservoir of pieces mixing electronic music and instrumental tracks. At the corner of the Lambert Collection spaces we can discover Daniela Zaghini, Maya Masse, Stéphanie Bayle in turn and discover or rediscover an extract from Knusa, interpreted by the choreographer.
