Saturday, June 13, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
With the artists Sara Lehad, Félicie Bazelaire, and Radio Hito.
AJMi, Multiprises Records, La Discrète Music, and Collection Lambert invite you to an immersive sound experience. Explore the worlds of three musicians and composers through repertoires of experimental and minimalist music. Effects pedals, recordings, and instruments interact and respond to one another throughout an afternoon set within the exhibitions of the Collection Lambert.
Sara Lehad
2:00 PM — Duration: 30 min
Sara Lehad is a music and philosophy artist-researcher. Born in 1995 in Algiers, she lives and works in Paris. Her research, situated at the intersection of philosophies of difference, aims to deconstruct her own artistic practice by focusing on sonic heritage (matrimoine sonore), which she approaches both as a compositional sound material and as a field of listening and perception.
Félicie Bazelaire — Fascinations
3:15 PM — Duration: 30 min
This piece offers a turbulent journey through the intimate space of fascinations that emerge between Félicie Bazelaire and her double bass. She has created an electro-acoustic setup that allows her to perform live with her own previously recorded double bass sounds. In this way, she constructs orchestrations blending harsh textures, high-pitched harmonics, off-kilter melodies, and organic rhythms.
Radio Hito
4:30 PM — Duration: 50 min
Radio Hito transforms angular ideas into grainy, minimalist, and haunting songs that feel almost colorable. Everything is impeccably structured—magnetic, restrained, with no excess or emotional overflow.
